I get out of the Marine Corps next year. I’ll be just shy of 8 total years in the military. What are some notable security contracting organizations with OCONUS jobs and what are some secondary schools that will help me achieve higher and more interesting contracts rather than static security?

WIthout SF or MARSOC experience, your opportunities would be limited to static security. And these days, that doesn't pay much more OCONUS than it does for the G4S guy standing outside the bank in your home town.

That gravy train has left the station. If you are trying to get into security contracting you better bring some qualifications with you. Usually SF, Ranger, or Law enforcement are desired. I looked at one company when I was in the National Guard. It was training Saudi Ranger School but it wasn't worth it. I would recommend trying to find something more stable but if you want to go contractor there are some forums that share knowledge on this.

I believe I still have my old TC recruiter’s number so I might be able to get more information from him. I’m hoping since I had my foot in the door and left as the youngest TL on contract I might be able to pull something. Or at the very least be led in the right direction.

Good luck. I had a few friends in the game. There a very contracts out there and a lot of people trying. If you know someone that will help.

Vinnell recruits, or used to. I spoke with a retired LDO LtCol before punching out. The money was real good, but not recommended for a family man, due to separations. It's tax free but only if you meet the OCONUS requirement. 6 day work week. Lots of sand. Even the line haulers for B&R were making good coin in Somalia. Some hard dogs too, packing .357s.
