Is it really too risky to rescue Americans in Yemen?

How is this too risky? I thought we left no man behind. I wonder if a certain someone could send an email and make it all better!

The article is somewhat ambiguous, but I'm assuming they're talking about American civilians who traveled to Yemen and are now stuck there...? If so, well... it isn't as though the government hasn't been warning people about the possible dangers of going to places like this. It seems to me that if you're aware of the risks and choose to do something anyway, then you have to deal with the consequences. It isn't as though we could charge the people for rescuing them, or as though they could ever compensate the families of the servicemen and women who may be lost in an effort to rescue them from their own stupid decision.
