TCS = Temporary Change of Station. The relocation of an service member to a new PDS for a temporary period to perform a long term temporary assignment, and subsequent return of the service member to the previous PDS after assignment completion.

It will depend on your branch manager. Usually they will get you an airborne assignment and send you when you are in route or your unit will send you when you arrive. If you get orders to the 101st or another leg unit you will not able to go to airborne.

You can only go to Airborne school as part of a PCS to an Airborne unit. Contact your Career Counselor and reenlist for airborne, or contact your Branch Manager and ask for an Airborne assignment. It’s really that easy. You’ll need an Airborne physical, it’s good for two years so you might want to start that now

I’ve done my Airborne Physical, but I haven’t gotten any help of what to do next since I’m fresh in the Army ( A year & some weeks).. I’ve heard that your branch manager number is on your AKO.. is that true?

PFC (Join to see) Actually you asked this question on here before and I answered you. Your unit can’t help you because they are not an airborne unit and not authorized to send people to airborne school.
To find your branch manager contact info, go to the HRC website and look under Enlisted Career Managers. Find the manager for your MOS and Rank. Don’t bother calling because they’re all teleworking still. Email a copy of your physical from your military email and request Airborne training. There’s a small packet that goes with it, they should send you an example. Your branch will place you on an Airborne assignment and you will go TDY enroute to Airborne school and then PCS to your next assignment. Good luck!
