If you have a secondary MOS can you still perform tasks in that MOS field while serving in a new primary MOS?

It depends. If your Command has both of your MOS’s and is short Soldiers in your secondary MOS as long as you are not a bonus recipient in you PMOS they could make your SMOS your duty MOS. The other thing that could happen is you could be assigned an additional that relied on your knowledge from your previous MOS.

Are you still qualified to perform that MOS if it is your secondary? And if not why do we bother having a secondary MOS slot on the SRB?

SGT (Join to see) I actually do all three of my MOS's. I have given classes on Generators as a 91D third MOS, I routinely do 25B stuff Secondary MOS, and my primary 88N I do all the time at AT. So yes most defiantly you can.
