How do I go about changing my retirement orders stating I have no combat related injuries?

I’m 100%p&t through the VA and am eligible for CRSC accept the incidents/injuries never sent me to the medic while in Baghdad. I went over healthy and came back ready to med board out basically.

The thing about being eligible for CRSC is you DO NOT have to be in combat to qualify. You simply have to be training for combat and received said injuries. The list of CRSC injuries is very short. Personally, if you qualify take advantage of it. Depending on how many you have and severity, you could be looking over $1000 extra a month.

Yes I was injured in theatre... multiple times but never bad. Maybe stiches or undocumented concussion or two. A rep from the Texas VC said it was impossible.

SGT Chris Williams if you want it apply for it, if you don't want it then don't apply. There's not really much else that can be done. Personally, I don't know why you'd want to close all the doors that opened for you.

The "combat related" part is very broad. It's extra money and if you're planning to look for work or start school, it helps carry you through on bills at a minimum. Do be warned if they issue you a TDRL and you get reevaluated PDRL and they just pay you out a severence... You will no longer be eligible for CRSC. You won't have to pay the money back if that happens.

SGT Chris Williams it doesn't, you won't be evaluated. Once you're permanent it doesn't change.

If you were in the Navy, the answer is, can’t be done. Not for sure about Army.
