I love our country I have issues with it now. When is it OK for Russia to save Americans and for us to sit by and do nothing.

It all started in Kenya about 52 years ago or so. Sorry, that was a bad joke and it was in poor taste.

Not that I am condoning our inaction but what about those people who knew this was coming for months and did nothing on their own to get out? They are culpable too; we all have a responsibility to take care of ourselves. Now, why didn't we do more? Not sure

I agree with the get the hell out idea. There may be other issues there like money or they didn't think it would really happen but for our administration to sit ideally by while Russia bails our people out and other countries people too. There was a time when we would have jumped into action using our own military planes even.
