How would you translate your military skill set if you were a 92F - Petroleum Supply Specialist in the Army to civilian terms that aren't pipe layer or Gas Pumper. Trying to gear more toward corporate sector.

Your subject might have been better directed to those in distribution management, rather than the petroleum industry, because that's the civilian function that covers what military supply guys generally do, regardless of the specific class of assets they may handle (like POL). When your guy builds his civilian resume, I suggest he first researches distribution management and pitch his experience and qualifications in terms that relate to its functions.
