I'm not trying to challenge WTB commanders and officers. You guys are awesome. You have helped me out in my year and a half in the WTB Fort Carson. However, the civilian doctors and a lot of our opinions are out of control. I'm out now and medically retired after 23 years. 2 doctors and one physical assistant misdiagnose me for different issues. I retired in December and already went through to surgeries. I can only type one-handed and that is with my left hand, because of surgery, I continually fall around my house and will need braces and a cane probably for the rest of my life. I faced 2 more surgeries as soon as my right arm heals.
With all that said these doctors had the better interest of the government and not me or other soldiers. Commanders please... Got to go old school on these people. Soldiers lives depend on it. I understand these doctors work for higher authority in the hospital system. So what, big deal? Heck, back when I first came the Army I didn't care who you were or who you work for. If you are in my way or strewn with any my guys I went off on you. You guys need to do the same. Don't worry about your OER. Some of the rights of something derogatory, but they see that you were trying to help Joe, that OER just came a positive OER. Soldiers come before and OER or an NCO we are each and every day.
I've already been featured a few years ago on the news. I also did a congressional (2 of them as a matter fact). I have no problem doing it again.
The article before this one, you will notice the civilian authority went out and got their own malpractice insurance. That should be telling everybody something. People like me, and the Lord, and the people the United States are not to put up with this much longer. Please start squaring these civilians away.
By the way, if you think I'm over exaggerating.... I have no problem coming onto Fort Carson or wherever you want and show you all my medical paperwork. Of what the civilian doctors on for Carson written. AND WHAT REAL DOCTORS in the private sector have said about my situation. You however must provide the coffee. :-)

By the way I apologize about spelling and errors I only have one hand to write and the surgery it was on my dominant arm. My apologies

Outstanding and what I have been saying for years. Leaders need to step in and see what is happening to their Soldiers. I give a rats A$$ if the doctors or WTB staff feel butt chapped, chastised or offended. If you are not taking care of our warriors or mistreating them, get the hell out of the caring business because you are in the wrong business. These Soldiers deserve the best, mess with one of my Soldiers and see what happens, there is no E-10. This goes for the folks in the VA system also, do your job and take care of our veterans. SSG Leonard Johnson My thoughts and prayers with you and your family and I hope the civilian doctors can help you and get you as mobile as possible. Salutes and Thank you for sharing.

Honestly I don't believe the VA will ever be fixed. To much pressure from the Government not to.
