How will BAH work while TDY for BOLC? Will we receive it for my gaining duty station or our current duty station?

Hello all!
I am a newly commissioned (and wed) 2LT. I will
Be going to BOLC-B in AUG of this year, and just married this last weekend, and she will be entered into DEERS in approximately two weeks.
How will BAH work since I will be TDY to Ft Lee? Will we receive it for our PCS location (Ft. Bliss) or our current location (Charleston)? Will that start the day that I enter active duty (02AUG)?
Thanks In advance!

It's good you have time to assemble your documents and get everything in order.
Several LTs at my BOLC at Ft. Jackson had to submit their application for BAH when they reported for in-processing.
You'll need your DD Form 1172 (Application for Uniformed Services Family Member ID Card from DEERS) showing your spouse is enrolled in your DEERS record.
You'll also need to complete a DA Form 5960 (Authorization to start/stop/change BAH).
Since BOLC is TDY, you should get BAH based on your HOR Zip. Once you PCS to Ft. Bliss, it will change to that zip, which is your duty location.
**EDIT** Appears as though AD Soldiers do not receive BAH unless you PCS to Ft. Lee. Reference BOLC Welcome Letter from ALU: https://alu.army.mil/officers/bold/docs/BOLD-Welcome-Letter.pdf
Recommend contacting ALU to see if you are eligible for exception.
