Keep two bottles of cheap whiskey on the top shelf.
If they come to get you, grab them and go sit on the floor next to the commode. Pour two thirds of one bottle all over yourself and then set it, still open, on the counter. Chug half the other bottle and keep clutching on to it. Be sure to be puking when your wife shows them to the bathroom, at which point she says, "He's been like this since he got out."

It always amazes me how veterans think they are going to be recalled any time something happens. The military service has over a million service members on call and ready to go. They don't need to pull some mechanic or grunt out of the IRR or retirement unless they have exhausted all those million service members or you have some rare skill, like being a surgeon or ophthalmologist.

SSgt Dave B. - Unless they are in the IRR and/or have a skill that would be in dire need....then your friend of a friend really shouldn't worry.

SSgt Dave B. - I know the Pentagon/DoD has put a travel ban on CONUS travel. But I have yet to hear of a possible recall

You can be called back up until 70 yrs if retired 20 yrs or more. However, you have to pass a physical and have a critical MOS. 65yr Old 11B, forget it! dream on.....
