I don’t have an expiration date under my branch detail

I have orders that say my period of branch detail is four years. I have spoke with S-1 (BN & BDE) and my branch manager and everyone keeps telling me not to worry about it. The issue is that everyone else that is branch detailed has an expiration date and I am not trusting of the "it will work out".

Sounds like someone (CPT (Join to see)) might be getting tired of being the USR Officer. What's your branch & have you spoken with the branch manager - what are they telling you Sir - specifically?

CSM Uhlig,
Am I tired of USR, YES? For now that is my lot in life and I am fine with it. I am a CHEMO and when I am done with my detail I go to the Signal corps. I noticed the fact that I did not have a branch detail expiration date when I first arrived at my unit. I contacted by BN S-1 and worked this issue up through the BDE S-1 all the way to the CBRN LT branch manager. No one has given me a straight answer. Everyone says that it is not right, but after they look into it come back with "don’t worry about it". What I am looking for is confirmation that this is an issue I don’t need to worry about or if they are just saying that because it is a lot of work to fix and not worth their time.

Sir, the BN/BDE Chemo is always the "USR guru".....will come back to help you as a BN/BDE Commander.
Concerning the branch detail, I recommend you getting all your facts together (include phone numbers as well as orders and etc), do an office call with the BC (make sure the DCO/XO is tracking the issue) - the Commander can typically get this resolved with a phone call....you are not alone experiencing this same thing.
