What is the average amount of time waiting for temporary appointment letters for officer ascension in the Air National Guard?

I was offered a commissioning opportunity last July, package was approved by NGB in January, but I still do not have my appointment letter to schedule my TFOT (OCS) dates. I have read through AFI 36-2013 but it doesnt provide timeframes. What is the average amount of time you have spent waiting for your temporary appointment letter for officer ascension in the Air National Guard?

2d Lt Cinthia W. have a guy in my Student Flight that came in early 2019. About June of last year he decided to commission & drop his enlistment - Tech School dates for 1N0/1N1 are looking at a year+ out for us. He just got OCS dates last month for this coming August.
Not sure why they are taking so long when classes are quite large right now.

Thanks SSgt (Join to see)! I am not sure either, I know that AU has increased the class size at TFOT. Also it doesn't make much sense that it has been 2 months NGB has approved by package and I haven't heard anything.

2d Lt Cinthia W. - Right? I'm looking at commission once I complete Tech School, so I'm very interested in this issue. If class sizes are 200-300 members, starting, what, every other week or so, there shouldn't be a great backlog. But, there I would go thinking again...lol

SSgt (Join to see) - Well for TFOT, the class starts are roughly about every 6 weeks or so and it includes active duty, guard and reserve. For FY 2020, there are only 8 TFOT Classes. Active duty takes priority over guard and reserve. I am not too concerned about getting into a course; just more so wondering why is it taking so long for me to receive the temp appointment letter.
