Has anyone figured out why the web.mail for DOD emails has shut down or know how to access the website?
When I go through AKO's section for DOD email and use the email login, I am sent to a page that says "Your session could not be established" followed by a session reference number.
If anyone has any updates or references for me to check, that would be great.
Thanks

You need to update your PIV certs and choose the AUTHENTICATION option for credentials/certs

SFC James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4" - I know there was a en mass email sent out some time ago. Unfortunately, I had deleted that email once I was updated. I think I have the instructions saved on my personal computer, though. I'll check tonight. In the mean time, get with your 6 as they may have those instructions. If I do find them, I'll send them to you.

SFC James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4" - You'd think a 3 letter agency would have that info...but I'll do some digging

The first link says the update needs to be done thru MilConnect

Army CAC holders need to activate PIV authentication by March 31
Army Common Access Card (CAC) holders have until March 31, 2019 to activate their Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Authentication certificate to ensure uninterrupted access to military networks and data.

Have you tried logging on with you PIV certificate rather than your email certificate? Most Enterprise email accounts have been transitioned to PIV.

SGT(P) Christopher Poole, take a look below (or above...depending on where this one falls in at) for the conversation with SFC James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4" and I. I posted some links that may very well help your situation.

SFC Livingston, thank you all for your help. I’ve just made it back to my room, but tomorrow I will take the sources you all provided and get it squared away.
Thank you again!
