My wife is currently stationed in korea amd is on orders to Ft. Hood 36 EN replacement?
We've been apart for about 2 1/2 years and if it's possible we would like to get her to my BDE and even unit? She's willing to waive her dwell time so that she may deploy with us this year as well.
So yeah is there a way we could get her re routed ?

Well, she can call branch and hope they are warm hearted and sends her to your BDE. Also, if you two are not enrolled in the military spouse program (I can never remember it), you both may want to get enrolled to try and eliminate this in the future.

We are enrolled in to the MACP program, it's a long story but Ft hood was a priority and i had to waive our joint domicile for me to get here, but we did that because she was already on HAAP assignment for hood when she left for korea. That's the short version. But ok we were under the impression Branch only controls where you can get station, not what bde and etc.

If she is in a different BDE it will be almost impossible because she was slotted to go where she is heading based on strengths and needs.
Two options are call branch and see if they will reroute - 90% that's a no. Or, ask your BDE CSM to request to do a 1 for 1 swap with another incoming person of her same MOS and rank. That has a better chance if she has a common MOS and the other person has a similar report date.

Call branch and if she’s not already on orders they can get her there. If she is on orders MACP and Joint Domicile. Those two should get her there but the Army can take up to a year to get you both at the same station.
