I'm thinking about joining the army this upcoming year and was wondering were to find the most accurate list of cutting scores? If I do end up having a choice in where I go, I'd like to be able to make the best decision possible.

The system with cutting score from sea service doesn’t carry over been Services. HRC publishes the by-name list and promotion points cutoff monthly.

I think I actually found a few good sites. I was looking up cutting a score, but I guess its, "cutoff score"?

MSG (Join to see) I am just trying to see what jobs I would like and what the scores would be. I have been doing the medical field in the navy and, although I like my job, it is really difficult to advance (though not impossible). I made the mistake of not look ill ng in not this before, just trying not to do it on this next shot.

PO3 (Join to see) - Good luck to you. I hope you find what your looking for. Only caution i would give you is just because cutoff scores may be high now, they may not stay that way. I would hate for you to go into something you weren't excited to do just because when you looked the cutoffs for promotion were high but dropped a few months later. Now there are certain MOS's that have historically stayed high, but that just means you need to work a little harder, but not impossible.

MSG (Join to see) thank you! The only reason I'm worried about it is because after I transition I will only have around a year to promote from e4 to e5. I will definitely keep that in mind though.

Not sure what you mean by cutting scores. I can say that whatever you are looking for can be found with an Army in service recruiter. If you provide more clarity we could respond a little better.
