Before class starts, go to the PX and get some highlighters, sticky tabs, notebooks and writing utensils. As soon as class starts you will hit the ground running, and all of the testing is open book. The entirety of being a good 35F is information management, not knowledge consumption. Know when to find your stuff first, then begin memorizing it all. I graduated number one in my class, and did not even have to try. I simply put school work first and took good notes. And ask questions. There really is no stupid question except the one you didn’t ask. Also, if you end up in charlie company, I created an entire pre-class reading and training that should be in one of the drawers on the first floor day room. If not, ask the Airborne holdovers for assistance.

Don’t get in trouble, you will have more freedoms going from basic to AIT don’t mess it up for the rest of your class
