Will my AR unit deploying make it easier to go active since I was chosen to go?

I wasn't able to go due to me graduating and have a child on the way i been trying to go active duty will that make it easier instead of having to find a new unit?

It won't make it easier. It won't make it harder, either. Find an active duty recruiter. Initiate a DA Form 368 Conditional Release Request. And then sit and wait to see what all of your Commanders in your Chain will say in regards to Yay or Nay. And, what do you mean by "instead of having to find a new unit?"

They are doing away with my unit another unit is currently moving in and we have been told we have to find a new unit thats accepting our mos but instead of finding one why not just releasing me.

SPC (Join to see) - Well, be aware that depending on how long it takes for the 368 to run its course...and how soon you need to find a new unit....it's gonna be a crap shoot.
