I just finished the Battle Staff course and was just wondering on average how long would it take for the ASI to be added to my MOS.

A few days. 1) someone have to get into it; 2) once uploaded in your file, it takes a few days for the system to reboot. Remember, always the lowest bidder!!!!

I gave my S1 a copy of my 1059 and they updated it right then and there in eMilpo. The school does it as well but that takes a little longer from my experience.

I had to do the same thing. Don’t know that it was ever going to happen otherwise.

IMO it is a good course in the respect it's adds value to NCOs, cross trains them, and prepares them to understand operations. They might not ever use what they learned, but I can see NCOs saying yes this rings a bell. I personally am a slow learner, but often have the aha moment that I have know a little about it and know enough how to research it.
