So I have already been to MEPS and shipping off in January 2020. I wanted LRP in my contract but was told no at the time at MEPS. Is there a way I can get it in my contract before I go?
Thanks in advance.

You can do a search on "contract" but your best results will come from talking to a recruiter.

Yes, you have to request the "Fort Polk" option. Just tell your recruiter. They'll hook you up.

If you were told no, it's probably going to be no. Talk to the recruiter to see if it changed.
When I decided to joint it was when I was in college and the Army was doing this program "College First." If you had up to 2 years left in college you could sign up, you got a stipend and had to go to DEP functions (or whatever it's called now) and then enlist after graduating. I was told from the day I signed up I could get college loan repayment. The day I went to go to MEPS, the recruiter says "I was looking through your contract and didn't see college loan repayment. Just tell them to fix it when you get there."
I got there. Told the person I talked to what happened and didn't expect much. Well the guy got it in my contract because when I signed up for that program, loan repayment was part of it - and then 2 months later changed to 3,000 bonus. I was considered grandfathered into the LRP.
But you were told no initially so it's most likely to be no. I don't get why you enlisted if you wanted LRP.
The only one who can give you an accurate answer is your recruiter.
