Besides being physically fit, how does one prepare/study for 37F selection?

You need to get really really good at littering.. All joking aside, their mission is good, and they mean well. However the time it takes to get products approved during the real psyop process is so long that by the time it gets approved it is then no longer useful. Very frustrating for the psyopers and the intel folks that help them.

as of about a year or two ago. There were SGTs everywhere but their points were always maxed out for SSG and made them all angry too. They were working on fixing the posistions and such to allow for promotions, but tough in their branch.

Ruck a lot. Run a lot. Keep an open mind. Be a team player and never quit.
