I’m interested in reclassify to 17C mos. My issue is I have heard different requirements for the Mos. For one is this an mos you can apply for so long as the TIS is less the 4 years or does it have to be no less than 12 months? And what certifications will make you better candidate for the mos?

1. Talk to your retention NCO. 2. If you didn't want to be a tanker then why waste our money? 3. You will have to serve a certain length of time in your MOS and at the Post before you can even think about changing MOS, so suck it up buttercup.

The application is on the Cyber school website. Once you're accepted bring the 4187 and acceptance memo to your Career Counselor.

I was told about doing ICTL to be able to get accepted , is there more to it than that ? Or should I just continue going to school for cyber security?
