Enjoy your time learning wheel vehicles. I retire from the OTC at FCTC after 23 years as a 91X40 instructor Aug 2014. I had about 14 MOS's that I instructed over 23 years. Had a great time

I just finished up my reclass at Ft Custer.
The school house and the pentagon/hotel were great...one man rooms with the shower and toilet shared with one other person. House keeping everyday, which provided fresh linens and towels.
I had good WiFi signal in my room, some of my classmates did not. The front desk provided ethernet cables for those with laptops and poor service. There is a small computer room with access to printers off from the main lobby.
The dining facility had good meals most days and were accommodating to those with diet restrictions or special requests.
The gym was very nice. Only 6 months old and a 3 min walk from the pentagon. An outdoor track is just behind the pentagon parking lot.
The All Ranks Club was closed for renovations while I was there but I think by spring 2020 they were hoping to have it reopened.
Locally I would recommend....
Griffin Grill and Pub....downtown Battle Creek, good atmosphere and food, good selection of beers
Ichimi Sushi, Battle Creek.....great sushi, very friendly
Sweetwater Donuts....open 24hrs
The Gilmore car museum...15-20mins from base. Get in free with military ID

how long is the 91B re-class school? I see that the initial AIT would be 13 weeks.

CPL (Join to see)
Sgt, the re-class is 6 weeks long, broken down into (2) 3 week phases. The phases can be done back to back or phase 1 completed then phase 2 taken at a later time.
