How do bicycles hold up during a PCS move with HHG?

Does anyone know how bicycles hold up during a PCS move with HHG? I'm trying to decide if I should sell the ones we have and buy new or keep and ship the ones we have. Thank you.

1, They don't weigh that much so it won't have much effect on your weight limit.
2. they do a very good job of protecting your stuff
3. if it does get broken there is a damage claim process, it takes considerable time but can be done

This will be my 4th PCS, but first with bicycles. I didnt know if it is worth my time to ship, but filing a claim will be fine I suppose lol.

As a former DOL at Schinnen the Netherlands the transportation division worked for me. When I pcs'd to Florida I HHG. No problem.
