Is Osan AB or Camp Humphreys better for PCS with a family?

Camp Humphreys is where it's at, largest installation outside the U.S. and only 55 miles away from the nearest city (SEOUL!!!!). On my way back over after 6 years, looking forward to it!

Camp Humphreys hands down. I was stationed there as an MP. Great place. Osan is nice, but smaller.

If I had a choice to be on an Army post or an Air Force Base... even though I'm Army, I'll choose to be stationed on an Air Base first. I admit the Air Force has better facilities than the Army does for the most part. The Army's getting better with much of the newer military housing, exchanges, etc. but I think the Air Force prioritizes their people's needs better than the Army does.

But I have no knowledge of Camp Humphrey's or Osan Air Base since I've not been to Korea yet. You'll have to defer to other folks for that question. Good luck to you in your next assignment.
