I want to ETS but I signed a paper saying I would re-enlist. do I have to sign another paper saying I want to ETS?

or can I just register for soldier for life program? I only have 10 months left

SPC (Join to see) what exactly did you sign? Was that piece of paper an extension or reenlistment contract? 12 month subscription to Vibe?

Until you raise your hand and take the oath, then sign, you haven't reenlisted. So just ETS.

A paper saying you'll re-enlist doesn't sound like an actual re-enlistment. SFC (Join to see) may be able to shed some light on this.

It's just a counseling session. The paper is to help the Career Counselor track whatever option you might be requesting
