FAA to hire Air Traffic Controllers Nationwide

The Employment and Training Administration (ETA) is pleased to inform you that our colleagues with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are planning on hiring around 3,000 Air Traffic Controllers nationwide. These jobs are important to our Nation’s infrastructure and economy, and the FAA wants to ensure everyone is aware of these openings which will be available on or around February 10, 2014 on the http://www.usajobs.gov/ website. While the jobs will not be posted until around February 10th, interested jobseekers can prepare their applications and resumes on http://www.usajobs.gov/ to ensure they have all the necessary paperwork and documentations when these vacancies open.

While there are several key eligibility criteria, we want to make you aware of the age requirement before providing outreach to a jobseeker about these positions. Individuals have to be no older than 31 years old when they are hired. This is an FAA requirement and we have been informed that there is no waiver of this requirement.
