I was active duty for a few years before I decided to make the switch to the National Guard. Now that my National Guard contract has come to an end I am desperately trying to go back active duty and all of the paperwork is almost complete. I have to wait for my NGB 22 to show up. I have heard that the states HRO office are the ones who cut that paperwork and to contact them to try to expedite things. It seems to be relatively difficult to find that specific phone number to that office. I have tried several phone numbers, all of which are human resources of some kind for my state but none of them do anything for the reserves or National Guard so I’m having a very difficult time. Can someone point me in the right direction?

complete and fax this form to them, or stop by Camp Mabry to drop it off.

Honestly, as a former TX ARNG member trying to find a specific number for anyone with the state is near impossible. Try reaching out to your S1 or even some of the Guard recruiters, they probably have a better idea of who to call.
