What do you think. Do we need a CW6? I do not think so. Also I think the air force wants warrant officers back in their force structure

There is already a CW6 rank, just not activated. Google it. It looks just like CW5 but with two lines... I think the ARSTAF CWO should be a CW6...

No need for a CW6. Any position needed could be filled by a CW5. Air Force had a Rand study completed last year which said Warrants were not needed but it sounded like the conclusion was drawn without looking at the real issues. I never put much faith in the Rand studies.

Don't see a need for WO6. I think the AF needs the warrents back. The officers don't want to fly the drones and they don't really want the enlisted doing it either.
