I took an Oath and wore a uniform a long,long time ago and with those actions became a member of a tribe,society,clan that forever understands me and I they,that’s it.

I think along the same line as you Phillip! I took an oath to serve my Country and to do the best I could do, including the ultimate sacrifice if needed... People who have never been a part of the Military just do not understand the ethos we share as active duty, reservists/national guardsmen, veterans, and retirees do. It is one of the reasons I joined the DAV and it is the reason I signed up for RallyPoint.
