I turned in my dd 368 form to change to active duty and my sergeant told me it is in brigade level, but last week, he told me to get another 368 form because it suppose to be signed digitally. So I got the new one and turned it in again, but my question is do I have to do whole process over again? I asked to recruter, he said I have to, however when I asked to my sergeant he says I dont have to because my new one is going to replace the old one. Can anyone tell me which one is true?

Honestly, I would be in your units office asking about it about twice a week. It may not be their priority, but it is yours. I feel like the more you ask about something, the quicker it will get done. People will get tired of you asking.
If you have an office call scheduled to seek approval of the 368, it does two things. It gets you confirmation that it was at least reviewed and two it carves time out of that Leader's calendar to deal with it. Signing your personnel action pile is one of the most put off things in a leader's ruck sack. Most I know schedule a one or two hour block every week just to do that. s1 comes in and basically walks them all through and comes it with signatures. All week the staff is looking at these to make good recommendations.
The GO will have their gatekeepers....Aide De Camp, XO, or SGS. Call there and see if you would be better off scheduling an office call or if the GO tends to sign based on staff analysis. If there are questions that you need to or you could answer on the spot vice, waiting for It to come back on it's two month winding return journey because <insert something simple> wasn't there. Don't show up unannounced. That will piss people off. Working within the system is fine.
You may also find out that that particular GO has a signing cycle for 368s like once a month. You may get some insight when it will be processed.
