After complaints of snoring and realizing how bad the airflow is on the left side of my nose, I believe it may be due to a deviated septum.

Not while on deployment, no. But, the Army will fix a deviated septum, I have several friends who've received the surgery.
As for Landstuhl, the Army isn't flying you out of country for surgery unless it's medically necessary for you to leave the country eg...life, limb, or eyesight.

SGT (Join to see) - during deployment all elective surgeries are suspended as SFC (Join to see) mentioned. That is why they drag you through broken glass during SRP to ensure that you WON'T have a medical issue while deployed because it is painful to deal with once operations are underway.

I don't think you want a deployment surgery. Some Captain tried to give me a root canal in a wooden TOC out of a briefcase. Tell your battles to get ear pro and embrace the suck. But the short answer, no.

If they offer to send me to Germany I may accept it. But hell no to a wooden TOC or sandy tent haha.
