If I’ve been demoted to PFC and get my SPC back, does my time in grade carry over or do I have to wait 6 months for a waiver to board again?

Your time in grade starts from the most recent time you attained that grade.

You do not go back to the original date of rank, time in grade never carries over after a demotion. Your date of rank will be determined by the most recent time You arrived at that grade.
