The recruiter said he has never seen anything like my case as I have also spent the last 10 years working on Navy aircraft as a contractor (60s mostly), I believe I have A LOT to offer and i want to serve again. The Army is pushing it through...I just want to know if there is anyone out there who may have had a similar situation who can give me a best case scenario as to what to expect. Obviously every case is different but I am shooting for a 15T (or is 67T?) MOS and I'm pretty stoked...filling out SF86 shit now. Thanks in advance?

Seems hard...I'm not one to back down from adversity but if I dont make it then I'm obligated to service based on the needs of the Army...

PO3 Brian Scowcroft - Isn't that the way of any job where they train you or pay you while you attend training/school? Mostly contractors are in-line with what they are looking for. Someone who is mature, had to handle jobs with minimum supervisoion and who knows when to improvise or ask for more help/support. Someone who is able to do critical thinking before, during and after the mission.
Ask how many tankers became infantrymen in Iraq. If you enlist you are still committed to the needs of the Army.
Don't let the little niggly worries stop you. You will do fine.

The Army restructured everything between 2004 and 2009. 67T (and all other aviation jobs) became 15 series.

I don’t have anything in regards to the RE code thing so I can’t say much on that.

15T is my 3rd MOS and it has been my favorite. You should stay pretty busy most of the time.
