Regulations I've already researched are "FM 90-26 Airborne Operations" "IAW AR 40-501 Standards of Medical Fitness" "DoD Financial Management Vol. 7A,Chp 24" and researched local unit Policy Letters/Instructions

Lol there is nothing that says that. That's like saying you don't have to do PT because you passed your APFT. You are required to jump the minimum number of times to maintain currency. There's no maximum. You can jump six times a week if that's the mission the commander dictates.

SSG Jamil Spruill that's not what you asked. Most paratroopers have been forced to fill chutes at one time or other. The Commander is required to fill the bird under guidance from higher. The air that drops us hates flying when the bird isn't full and that's a justification for turning down requests for air in the future.
It's no different than being told you have to go to the range. Swap out the word jump for range and you have an unremarkable Army day.

A lot of BS there SSG. You trying to think that if you are current, then you won't jump in on an EDRE, Bn FTX, ARTEP etc. Smoking wacky weed there stud, I had 326 jumps in 21 yrs, there some months we jumped 4-6 times.

SGM Bill Frazer - MNo SGM I totally am all GO for training missions like those I'm just saying jumping just to jump when there are clearly people in the unit in need of jumps, I've spoken to many SGMs, CSMs and LTCs and have been told by them that if you are current the unit can not mandate that you jump unless their is a follow on mission. I don't smoke or drink by the way just saying to jump just to be jumping promotes more injuries. Soldiers walking around with iron knee caps, broken arms, legs, and head injuries from chasing jumps. Just saying I got it how people think Airborne is super duper high speed but if a soldier is current and others are not why force that soldier to jump.

SFC (Join to see) - Roger been forced before but as I've stated to the SGM there are other Senior ranking personnel who totally agreed with me outside this website. I mainly posted on here to see what the masses thought and see could someone actually post a quote from a reg stating so but no one has. I do respect the leaders who took the time to speak on the concern and give feedback.

Only thing I know is: Rule 3: "The jump performed on July 13 is not applied for entitlement because it is one of multiple jumps performed in the same month. Only one jump per month is used for qualification to parachute pay (Table 24-3, rule 1).Feb 29, 2000."

As a former S3/G3 Air NCO, it was my job to insure everyone was current in the unit, but if I manifested you, and you said you didn't need to jump, as long as everyone was current t, then you would be at parade rest in front of the LTC/ COL, when we got back!

I understand that but its seems to be a mixed bag because everyone on here saying you have to jump and everyone Ive spoken to in person has said otherwise.

The regs are clear- once you are manifested, you are required, it is not much different than missing movement. Have you talked to your Air NCO- I'm basing my comments on 21 years jump status some 20 yrs ago, 75th RGR, 82nd ABN, XVIII ABC.
