Interviewing for a federal technician job today. Anyone have any advice?

For a federal technician job, you need to be good at your mos and recognized in your unit by your references on your resume. Also use references that are already technicians. You also need to sell yourself in the interviews. Don’t give up on the first federal tech job you apply for. The more interviews show that you are determined to work for that organization. Sometimes a temporary job becomes available and then you can show them how hard you work. If your willing to work hard, I’m sure you will get hired at some point.

Dress appropriately, make sure to have copies of your resume and references on hand, take notes, ask questions, and don't say anything stupid (this includes using military lingo). Good luck!
