My older brother wants to get back into the Guard. He has an honorable discharge but had one APFT flag. He wasn’t chaptered out for it. So will the flag still be there if he goes to re-enlist?

They just want to see his discharge paperwork. If it has a code that is good for coming back in then he will be fine

All depends on the RE code and is he totally off of contract meaning not in the IRR? If so then the flag wouldn't be there.

SPC (Join to see) - might be there might not be there if the commander never signed a flag removal. But if he can pass a Apft then it wont be a big deal.
He can go see a retention nco being in the IRR, it is a lot easier to get back in national guard or Reserve being in the IRR still.

Depends on what his RE code is. Have him check with his recruiter. The flag expired the moment he was discharged.
