Can you reclass from a balanced mos to another balanced mos within your initial contract?

I had to transition from 13P to 13J. I wasn’t happy in FA so I reclassed to the infantry in my first contract with over a year left on the contract

Was it hard to reclass? How long was the process? And did you have to extend your contract after reclassing?

You can’t reclass until you are in your reenlistment window which is 18 months from your ets date

Reclassification Opportunities

I was told since my ETS is in October I couldn’t reenlist 18 months prior . Something about the fiscal year , I don’t know what they said went over my head .
