I went through in 2007. As SSG Madoux said as a nurse you will be responsible for a patient of larger girths (morbidly obese) however the physical requirements art that difficult. IF you have a patient that needs to turned or picked up ask for help never-ever do it yourself, that is what causes the injuries in the first place. Secondly, I can't speak for all location I was at Ft Sam the entire time and we did PT every day. During didactic days to include phase 1 we did organize unit PT and on clinical days we did PT at the gym on our after clinicals. Just remember if you have pre-existing injuries be careful to not exacerbate it.

For 68C AIT, no, nothing beyond the APFT. However, the MOS as a whole requires you to be able to tolerate standing for prolonged intervals and some ability to lift large amounts of weight (turning bedridden patients, helping unsteady patients stand, etc.). This is not necessarily a requirement, but par for the course. If you have any back or knee issues just something to be aware of going into it.

Thanks. I was hoping to hear it was pretty easy physically. I’m looking forward to my reclass
