Army- who takes a soldier to the soldier of the month board the squad leader or team leader?

Whoever it is, pick someone who wants to be there.

I have seen sponsors who represent a Best Warrior candidate who have been voluntold to be there. They suck. And it reflects badly. Sometimes the sponsor is as important a choice as the candidate.

I know you are referring to Soldier of the month board, but in the Reserves we do Best Warrior.
