I tried the Office of Personnel Management with no clear answer. I will retire as a FERS employee and bought back 7 years of active service towards my pension. I know I cannot collect 2 pensions active and fed civilian, I have read that under Title 32 I can collect a civilian and National Guard pension. I wanted to verify this and that my 7 years will count towards my Guard pension. Thanks for any assistance.Can I collect both a civilian and a National Guard pension? KEEP records. I had to prove I bought back my first six years of Active duty. If you go active, such as deployment, but that back.
