I came across these guidelines for wear for the OCP and Multicam OEF-CP, and I am still confused as to what headgear is authorized for both uniforms and if there is even a difference between the headgear, which I don't really see there, but I can see in the actual uniform. These are literally the same pictures, it's just that the headgear part confuses me. I haven't really found anything anywhere in AR 670-1, and if someone could point it out or the difference at all or if anyone would notice the difference while wearing it, that would be much appreciated.

I don't know if this helps:
In the side-by-side OEF-CP (multicam) is on the left. In the uniform comparison, OEF-CP is on the bottom.
https://ovinnovations.com/pages/scorpionmc has a good article on the differences.

Just remember like items with like items. There is a clear difference between the patterns.....maybe not at 100m......but there is a difference. Head gear, as stated previously, is pretty much and organizational item. The basic issue is the PC and the PC is G2G most places.

The headgear camo should match the uniform. The PC is your standard unless the unit says otherwise (Airborne, et cetera).
