Should a NCO receive a "did not meet the standard" on their NCOER for a soldier that constantly didn't take care of his/her personal hygiene even when you counseled them numerous times?

No one is going to mention that this offense is specifically listed under the grounds for a Bar to Continued Service?

There’s only so much a NCO can do. This isn’t the old days when you could gang up on someone with a hose and a scrub brush.

Leading Soldiers is about the ability to motivate them to accomplish the tasks necessary, in this case, showering

I agree and disagree with such statement. A lot, a lot of people don't change bad habits (not showering) even after making NCO ranks...so your statement is true but not for this case.

It was more on the NCOER but this was one of the boxes I was wondering about.
