I'm doing RC MCCC, and being paid for the time would be nice. Can anyone say whether that is the case?

Yes. You can get paid for Distance Learning for NCOES/OES. It is paid under EBDL funds. All you will need: is a commanders memo stating what course you are going to attend, when your projected start and end date; your certificate of completion and a DA Form 1380 filled out with the dates you did the training and what you did on those date. Be careful, however, as if you do any of the training while on orders, those days will not be paid with EBDL as you were already getting paid. Double dipping rule. You submit all those documents to your S1/RPAC, and wait for pay.

If I finished my EBDL course during pay status, does that mean I won’t get paid for the previous days that weren’t in pay status? Can I get paid for the days that I wasn’t on duty?

SPC (Join to see) - If you did any courses that are paid with EBDL funds while on PAID status (orders, BTA, etc.) then you will not get paid for those hours of that EBDL. As long as you complete those EBDL courses OFF DUTY (not on orders, not at BTA) then you can get paid for those hours. So, yes, you will get paid for those hours NOT on Pay status

CPT David Buck not all commands necessarily will actually allow payment of funds. Be sure you keep all documentation of course work. When I was working on it it seems that there credit hours equated to a point. I made sure to get my points documented via 1380 Howard my retirement points total! No one said it was fair! It's a lot of work. Getting to at least 0-5 level will be worth it as it's the only "investment" plan where you earn money now and later after reaching age 60 or less depending on mobilizations after 2008.

Sir, you are authorized 12 ATADL periods per fy.
For every 8hrs of online training you complete you earn one, 4hr, ATADL period.
The EBDL approved course list states the hours each DL phase of CCC is worth but it should also be on your ATRRS transcript once you're finished the phase. I'll comment later if i find it.
Fill out two DA 1380's one for eight days and one for two. The last day on the second DA 1380 will be your course completion date. Then work backwards, omitting any duty days you've already performed.
Example:
21 May - completion date - 4hrs/P1
20 May - 4hrs/P1
19 May - 4hrs/P1
18-16 May - BA - omitted
15 May - 4hrs/P1
......
If you've already performed ATA or ATADL days in the same FY as your phase completion, you can only be paid for a total of 12 days.
You will need a counselling from your commander (DA 4856) authorizing you to perform ATADL days.
You will turn in your signed DA 1380, DA 4856, and your completion certificate and/or ATRRS transcript, to your UA or S-1 for entry into the pay system.
