Are Soldiers allowed to receive separation pay if they enter their RCP due to rank reduction?

That separation pay will make you feel good for about ten minutes because you cant get any VA money until you pay that back dollar for dollar.

I would presume they would be eligible for separation pay based on the grade they were reduced to if that's the grade they ETS'd at.
