It depends are you going AD or Guard/ Reserve? I recently been just joined the guard and been out since 2010 and Won’t Have to attend any more training but more than likely you will have to!

Are you still IRR? I am and am now in processing into active duty after sitting on my ass in IRR for the last 5 years. I am still obligated until 2020. Just waiting to be cleared and given a MEPS date. I will not have to go to any type of BCT. At MEPS I will find out if I can reclass and in that case I will have to attend a AIT. Which I am looking forward to. I also wish I could go back to BCT.

From what I understand if you have been out for 3 years(after IRR obligation, not ETS) you have to go back to BCT.

@spc jovani yes you suppose to attend a BCT if you been out more than 3 years but it also depends on the unit you are going to!
