What are your favorite military vehicles, aircraft or ships?

CPL Dave Hoover I agree with you completely about the Battleships and the PT Boats. When it comes to Aircraft, I have always been a big fan of the F-4U Corsair, the P-38, and the F-14. When it comes to the ground, I like the old school Jeep and the Sherman Tank.

PO3 Steven Sherrill all awesome, love the Corsair it's in my top 3 from that era, but was listening 2, or the Jeep would have been there (the only reason the HMMWV over the Jeep, I drove it for 8 years) in my un-modest opinion, love all vehicles, all branches, all eras (just a military junkie) .

I like your list, CPL Dave Hoover. HMMWV-any version, M-1009, F-4 Phantom, P-38/51, M-113, M-60, LAV-25, F-15, B-52, and of course, the A-10!

My son and I love watching videos of Battleships firing. There's just something so satisfying about the smoke and fire and noise that you don't get with Tomahawk cruise missiles.
One of my favorite aircrafts is the B-24. Mainly because my grandfather flew one in WWII. I have some of his old manuals from back then. They wouldn't pass the political correctness test these days!
I'll second you on the Abrams being one of my favorite land vehicles. They supported us in Iraq and few things made you feel better than a couple of those beasts showing up to help.
