I have to say I really enjoy being able to log on to RallyPoint daily and seeing leaders and service members from all branches have good thought out discussions about our military. Too many places online and on instillations around the world are full of service members that don't want to be in the service, hate everything about it and all the want to do is avoid work and complain. It is nice to come to a place where you can ask a serious question like why are we not correcting soldier? and then have a serious discussion. instead of some one responding with we correct soldiers too much seniors are mean to me. It is refreshing not to have to hear and deal with all that negativity on here; but have some really positive back and forth with senior and junior leaders. Lets keep this place just like this. Avoid having all our Soldiers sign up just cause it is the thing to do. Pass this site on to Service members that want to make connections and have real

I'm enjoying it too! I'll admit I'm being picky with who I invite, keeping it to those I know would appreciate the opportunity to be part of and informal but professional network. I think regardless of who joins the conversation will remain mostly positive considering it's impossible to hide exactly who you are and who you work for. It's unlikely members will use Rallypoint as an outlet to complain.

MAJ Robert (Bob) Petrarca - not sure I'd call Pittsburgh Northeast. My cousin Vinny, though - that was definite Nort-east. I believe that accent came from Brooklyn. It's the only place I know where one can tawk like 'dat an' be understood.

I do enjoy it but I wish I had more time to spend on RP to get more into the weeds. With working full time for two of my four units deploying, school full time and ministry work I just do not have the time I need.

This is one of the few forums I know of where honest differences of opinion are encouraged and not disrespected. I wish I had access to something like this when I was coming up through the ranks, but then we were using stone chisels, tablets and muskets back then.

I'm also enjoying this site and like Stephen said below I have invited everyone I can think of. I don't think you should avoid inviting people to the site just because you think they will detract from the current professional environment. I think everyone from the most junior soldier to a 4-star general can benefit in some way from this site. Because this site is built around professionalism, I think those who are negative all the time will either be changed for the better because of the mentorship that this site provides or will continue to get voted down in their responses. Feel free to invite all! Everyone will benefit!
