I got recycled 2 weeks before graduation and did a whole other cycle and completed it again and a week before graduation senior drill sgt decided that I wasn’t ready to graduate. I went to speak with a lawyer at the jag office and got letters stating that I was fully qualified and there’s no reason to not have let me graduate but because the commander at the new battalion I was sent to made his mind up the first day that I should’ve never got recycled and to send me back which he did and then they sent me back because the commander at my first battalion had faith in Me and wanted to see be graduate and they sent me back and so finally the new commander I got said if got one infraction he was sending me home and Just my luck I lost my eye pro in the field and sent me home on a recode 3. 6 months later I meet up with my previous recruiter who worked heavy with me and sent in a wavier packet for me but it was decided that my ASVAB score was too low 36( I have a GED) and that took a major toll on their decision on letting me back in. So now I’ve tried calling around to see if I could find another’s recruiter who will take the time out (my older recruiter got transferred) and help me but that isn’t easy with this recode 3. So now I’m stuck and I do wanna go back and take the asvab and try again. I will try again and again until I make a 50, willing to go through basic for a 3rd time just need to see what I need to do to start the process over again or is it even worth it?

Do you have any college credit? Go to a recruiting station with all your documents including your discharge documents to the recruiter. If you don’t have any college I would recommend attending college and getting some credit! If you got a dd214 what do it say in Block 28?
A recruiter will be willing to work with you just got to find the right one and have the right documents. What state are you located in? If you can’t go active or reserve try the National Guard they can do things active duty and reserve can do to get you in!

I know the recruiters here in MISSISSIPPI will work with especially the national guard here cause they 3,900 are deploying so the guard will be short! You can email me @ [login to see] and I can give you an AD recruiter # who help my brother get in and the National Guard recruiter I’m working with!

First off, I wanna say I do not believe a damn part of this story because that’s not how any of this works. You don’t get passed between battalions like it’s nothing, there are processes in place that take time and paperwork to move individuals. Second, you lost you’re eye pro which resulted in a chapter? Highly unlikely. I would say that they were probably processing you for a chapter prior to the graduation date and were just waiting for the packet to complete and it was based on your ASVAB score, the Army requires at least a 50 for individuals with a GED
