Deployed to Qatar for 6 months in 2010. I was attached & traveled on TDY orders. I am told this should be removed from my ERB. Yes/No?

This was before they took away the combat zone pay for that area (Operation New Dawn). This was in a SOF environment and normally do not travel on TCS orders. All I have proof is a 1610 and they cannot be uploaded to IPERMS. This is in preparation for the SFC board and I trying to make sure my records are straight. This is not the first time I have had my records reviewed/scrubbed. I am just looking for some guidance on what to do. If I take it off this means all S1's before me have been wrong. This includes multiple CSM's, SGM's, 1SG's that have sat on boards and reviewed my records.
