Here is the process workflow:
1. Unit identifies a vacancy and advertises position on HRC, AR G‑1 or OFTS CMD website for a minimum of 30 days.
2. Unit prepares AHRC Form 4152/4152-1 IAW HRC instructions.
3. Unit submits vacancy packet to OFTS CMD who reviews, validates, and forwards to RPSC, along with all eligible packets/declination statements.
[Note: HRC PVB MOI and AHRC Form 4152/4152-1 are available on the AR G-1 web page athttps://arg1web.usar.army.mil/PersonnelMgt/PMD_Promotions.htm
4. HRC conducts the board.
5. HRC publishes the promotion order after receipt of AHRC Form 56‑R, and the UMR page.
6. HRC distributes order to Officer, OFTS CMD, iPERMS, and updates personnel database.
7. Unit submits the promotion order to USAR Pay Center.
[Note: Prior to promotion, the officer must be ""slotted"" in the position boarded by the PVB.]
